Perry Salou’s fascination with sacred art, particularly crosses, began when he discovered his wife’s grandmother’s jewelry box. These motifs, collected during pilgrimages and travels, have become essential elements of his creative universe. His explorations took him to South and North America, where he learned from Navajo artisans. Here too, crosses—removed from any religious context—stand out as timeless, emblematic elements, universal talismans that resonate across all cultures.

As the founder and artistic director of Perry de la Rosa, Perry Salou designs his jewelry in his Côte d’Azur workshop. Influenced by baroque art, a rock’n’roll spirit, and the sunny charm of the Mediterranean, he travels the world collecting rare materials. From his insatiable curiosity are born original, bold, and captivating pieces.
His creations draw inspiration from Medieval and Renaissance sacred art, as well as contemporary aesthetics. As a child, Perry was fascinated by the worlds of knights, crusaders, and pirates, brought to life through Lego and Playmobil adventures.
